My friends call me Melody, my mom calls me Wawa.
Born in New York and raised in Tennessee to immigrant parents, I've had the rich opportunity of living a multicultural life. The duality of being bilingual and experiencing two cultures has helped me adapt quickly to my surroundings and find empathy from different perspectives.
This mindset extends to how I view design and my established design philosophy:
As a communication asset, good design speaks to every person regardless of language barriers or frame of mind.
As designers, we are hired by our clients, but we design for their target audience. Being empathetic to that audience is fundamentally required.
To achieve great design requires great collaboration, between peers and with our client.
Psst. Wanna see something fun?
When I’m not designing for clients, I take photos of things I collect and post them to the internet.
